The hotel was absolutely fabulous, we loved our stay there for 3 nights our room was beautiful and the beds where soo comfortable too, Adele on reception couldn't do enough for us since we checked in, she was truly amazing, also the food was out of this world it's all locally sourced and the ladies Susan and Eve in the restaurant where just a delight too, they looked after us both very well indeed!!, we loved the pool and the sauna and steam room and had a very well deserved chill out there after a full on couple of days whilst up visiting, we left feeling very refreshed indeed, I honestly highly recommend it too all and it's right beside Calderglen Country Park if you like a nice walk or entertainment for your children, it gets a 10/10 from us and we look forward to returning next month again, thank you all and see you all soon.

Breakfast was very good. We stayed 4 nights, the first two breakfasts (Sunday & Monday) were self service buffet style and my only complaint was that the only eggs available were scrambled (no alternatives were offered). However the Breakfasts on Tuesday & Wednesday were served and we had a choice of eggs. We only ate twice in the evenings at the hotel. The first was a bar meal (the Beefburger) which was tasty. We also had one Dinner: the sirloin steak which was also good but a little expensive, I felt. The room was good, we had been upgraded to a family room with two King Size beds and included a play pen!

Staff were courteous and informative. Rooms and bathroom were spacious. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Elemis products were a nice touch. And very quiet, no doors slamming, no loud pings from the elevator which seems to be normal in most hotel. Another bonus point is the still and sparkling water fountain dotted around the hotel, such a good idea - should have it in every hotel. Pool was lovely size and perfect temperature, with steam room and sauna. Buffet breakfast was nice, not a huge selection but adequate.

This is a well located traditionally styled hotel in a very attractive setting. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, though they are NOT air conditioned, if that matters to you. It was not a problem at the time of year that I visited, but it could be in a warm summer. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has a lively bar that serves a good range of products. I did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on the food offer. There is plenty of parking.

Staff very pleasant On my own but I had supper in lounge. Very tasty. A well humoured group were just leaving after a meal A lady at another table had the best laugh ever. She fairly cheered me up. Really enjoyed my 1st swim in a long time. Might be sn idea to wipe the green mould on the glass door Could be doing with the ceiling being painted
